The Prayer of Women

by Sherry Riter in Poem,The Redhead Riter,Women Stuff

woman

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my shape to keep.

woman

Please no wrinkles, Please no bags
And please lift my butt before it sags.

woman

Please no age spots, Please no gray
And as for my belly, Please take it away

woman

Please keep me healthy, Please keep me young,
And thank you Dear Lord, For all that you’ve done.

Hey Gal! That is hilarious! I wish I'd known that prayer about 35 years ago when gravity took hold! LOL! I've been working out at Curves, but I think all I'm accomplishing is sore muscles! No Reflection on Curuves of course, I don't know how to diet and eat right! I've also heard that if you get plenty of rest you can lose weight, wellll, I don't do that either. Needless to say, I'm a little on the fluffy side, (about 50 pounds over. I'm not Huge, but I could definitely stand to lose.

Hope hubby's doing better!

Love ya bunches!
