Chewy Fudge Brownie Recipe

There are all types of brownies and they include everything from dense, heavy to flaky, rich cake. As time goes by, I will share several types of brownie and tonight will be the first one.

This brownie’s texture is dense, heavy and the edges are especially chewy. The flavor is deep and chocolatey fudge. The brownie is not only delicious alone, but works perfectly in a milk shake because it won’t fall apart easily. Doesn’t a brownie chunk milk shake sound delicious?

Chewy Fudge Brownie

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter and flour a 9×13 pan and set aside.

In an electric mixer, whisk the eggs for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a double boiler or metal bowl sitting on top of a medium pan, melt the chocolate chips and chocolate bars.

You don’t have to stir until the very end, so just let it melt slowly.

While the eggs are whisking and the chocolate is melting, in another bowl add the sugar…

salt…

add salt

and cocoa.

Combine until completely mixed. Using a large fork works great!

When the eggs are finished whisking and very frothy…

add the vanilla…

and oil and whisk for another minute.

Stir the chocolate off the heat for a minute to cool it a little and then add to the egg mixture and stir by hand.

When wet ingredients are completely combined…

add all the dry ingredients at once.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until completely combined. It will be thick.

Pour the mixture into the middle of the 9×13 pan and spread with soft mashing motions.

Bake for 29 minutes and not one second longer! The edges will slightly pull away from the side of the pan. Insert a toothpick in the brownie and it will be mostly clean.

Now comes the fun part!

Chewy Fudge Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:

1/4 cup flour (for pan)

2 one ounce semi-sweet chocolate bars
2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup oil
