Artist James Turrell – The Light Inside That Glows

by Sherry Riter in Art

American artist, James Turrell, creates art that is mainly about light and space. “A Turrell Projection is created by projecting a single, controlled beam of light from the opposing corner of the room. The projected light appears as a three dimensional form.”

My favorite is Enzu.

Can you take a guess as to why I like this one the best?

I’m easily spooked. I don’t watch scary movies and I don’t like being scared. If I had the Enzu light, the corners of the room would be lit up all the time. Corners of rooms are usually the darkest and the scariest!!!

I know. I’m silly.
