Watching Movies In Peace On A Deserted Island

by Sherry Riter in BlogFrog,Product

You are stranded on a desert island, so what three movies did you take to watch over and over again?

Don’t hurry off because I will tell you how you can win $10,000 as part of the Redbox Summer of Fun & Games Sweepstakes at the bottom of this post.

I am on a very beautiful deserted island…however, it has all the comforts of home because you know I simply can not live without air conditioning, a comfy bed and a hot shower. I was able to bring three movies with me too because there is a fancy DVD player and huge big screen television.

This is definitely roughing it.

While cuddled on the couch with my chocolate ice cream…Oh yeah, I have that too on this peaceful and quiet deserted island…I am hard pressed to decide which movie to watch first.

You know two of the three movies I would choose for my desert island adventure because last month I explained how and why I watched “Crossing Delancey” and “The MIrror Has Two Faces” over 3000 times each.

My downfall, I think, is sappy love stories. When Amy Irving finally falls for the pickle man and Jeff Bridges realizes that being in love really is one of the most euphoric feelings a person can experience, I am all smiles. I can even hear the birds twittering. Of course, on this deserted island I can hear lots of birds singing and even a few rustling bushes from the deer frolicking to and fro.

Choices, choices.

Out of all the movies I have ever seen, the third movie I would choose to take on the deserted island is one of my favorites, but I have not watched it anywhere close to 3,000 times which is why I would probably pop it in first. Let me tell you a little bit about “Something’s Gotta Give” because it has three phenomenal characters played by awesome people.

Diane Keaton is a writer who is extremely modest in her turtlenecks, loves white and gets quite emotional while writing. I totally relate with her character! No, I do not wear turtlenecks in the summer. (rolling my eyes)

Keanu Reeves is the gorgeous doctor who does everything right while dating Diane Keaton and falls madly in love with her. Keanu is very easy on my eyes.

Jack Nicholson, a real player in every sense of the word, finally comes to realize that he loves Diane Keaton too. Jack is such a phenomenal actor that I forget I am watching a movie!

Since you are not on this deserted island with me, I highly suggest you watch this extremely entertaining movie. I am going to enjoy it before Pierre and I have dinner. Oh, you did not know about Pierre? Well, really, did you expect me to be on a deserted island without protection from all the creepy crawlers and animals?

So tell me below because I want to know, what three movies would you take on a deserted island?

No, you can not take Pierre, but he does have brother. (wink)
