Who are these people?
It is pretty easy to figure out that there are 291 faces showing. Are you in the picture? What are you waiting for ???? These are pictures of my Google Followers!
Wonderful people who visit my blog and make comments about my postings. These are some of the same people who have blogs that I take the time to visit where they write things that me me laugh, cry and uplift me by the stories they share about their own lives. I also visit other blogs, but they either do not visit me back or they do not click the little Google Follower widget which isn’t little any more. Did you notice it spans most of the width of my blog and is located at the bottom of the page? I like a lot of the faces showing at one time. I feel more connected to everyone. It is like going to a party and everyone likes you! Besides, everyone is smiling and looks happy!
5496 visitors! When I started this blog four months ago, I had no idea that I would be visited 5496 times. I still look at the visitor counter (now located at the bottom of the page) and I marvel that so many people from all walks of life have touched my life if only for a few minutes. If you don’t have a counter or if you want to upgrade your counter, go to the same place I got my counter! There are many styles and backgrounds for the counters. I love all the little fireflies showing on my counter.
Have you ever pondered how small the world really is if you take into account how easy it is for all of us to converse one with another through Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Blogs, and many other applications?
Of course I can’t forget those people who subscribe to my blog in a reader (currently 262 people) or email. It is nice to know that you value my blog enough to have it sent to you each day to peruse.
I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who visits my blog and reads my postings. When you email me or write a comment saying that my post helped you, I feel so happy that I was able to make a difference that day. Just knowing that I helped one person to carry a lighter burden makes me feel needed and connected.
There are a few blogs that stand out because they wrote a whole post about me JUST BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO and I am very touched. That is why I have created a special spot for them under my profile. Their act of kindness made me feel very special and will not be forgotten .
If you click on the name of their blogs, it will take you straight to the posting they wrote about me. I like the idea of writing about another blogger in a posting and am going to incorporate that into my future blogging too. Do you like that idea?
If you have visited my blog lately (the past three days) did you notice the changes? For instance, there is an extra row of pictures at the top under the navigation bar and all are clickable. Don’t you just love the last picture? Now each time I pull up my blog, there he is…smiling…LOL… I also changed the Blogger icon in the address bar to a red double “R” icon. That was fun to do! Amongst the changes in my blog there are three clues to the meaning of my posting entitled My Blog Is Pregnant With Multiples. I’ve actually purchased a few more gifts for the winner(s) of the contest and I’m getting REALLY excited to unveil everything including the contest. When I first wrote that posting, some of my friends read the title and then immediately called to ask if I was pregnant…silly people. That should be a big lesson in getting the facts straight and the need to read my complete post before freaking out. Surely you have learned that I often have a shocker at the end, so never jump to conclusions after the first paragraph. I mean really, did anyone guess that at the end of the wonderful posts about cabinets or the white rooms, I would end them the way I did? So for the record, I am not pregnant and at my age now I do not want to be pregnant. Unfortunately, those days are over for me. I wanted twelve children, but that just wasn’t possible, so I will leave all that pain to someone else (wink).
